Project Description
“Columbia Basin Trust has successfully added 60 kilometers of high-speed fibre optic cable to its broadband network in the South Country, between Jaffray and Roosville. Internet service providers can now connect to this regional backbone, receive a higher-quality connection, and in turn improve the services they offer to customers.
In addition, the Trust is nearing completion of a 125-km expansion of its network in the Slocan Valley, to just north of Nakusp.”

Measurable-Results
Axis Technical Services is proud to be part of these two amazing projects. We were able to showcase our capabilities as a Prime Contractor, delivering both Aerial Fibre and Underground blown fibre in Microduct.
Both projects combined for over 100km of new Fibre Optic infrastructure delivered for these communities. The fibre cable is 72 strand singlemode, which will support any services for the foreseeable future.
Our dedicated team delivered a high quality project with the challenges of material and labour shortages experienced by everyone.
